Two weeks after Shane Warne's death stopped the country in its tracks, Glenn Ball opened a DAW for the first time. Three months later he was signed to MojoHeadz Records in L.A. as a producer — a fast, unlikely rise that's set the pace ever since. Now that momentum is moving off the screen and onto the decks, as Glenn steps out from behind the studio to bring the KUTFINGER sound straight to the crowd.

Kutfinger is the sound of Glenn Ball, a Melbourne-based producer, DJ, and entrepreneur building his own lane between studio and street. Rather than waiting for a club booking, Kutfinger takes the set outside — a walkabout DJ rig based in St Kilda, turning the local foreshore into an open-air dancefloor and capturing it all on the move, with more of Melbourne, Australia on the way soon.

The name comes from a personal story turned into a badge: one less finger, twice the skill. It's stamped into the brand's boxed wordmark, where a single red letter marks the cut.

Musically, Kutfinger moves across melodic house and techno, tech house, lo-fi, and boom bap, with AI increasingly part of the process — including a run of liquid drum & bass that's landed lately. A back catalogue is already streaming, a second LP, Equinox, arrives this September, and a third, the tech house-driven Magic Pills, is already taking shape.

That same drive is building out past the music too: Hands Off Radio, a monthly radio show, gives the sound a regular home on air, and Kutfinger Records — Glenn's own label — makes the ownership-first ethos official. No outside labels, no middlemen, just the work going straight from the rig to the world.
